Transport
Athens has an extensive metro system that can get you around the centre of the city.
Southern suburban areas are covered by tram. You can use the tram from the beach all the way to the city centre. There are few places on the interactive map below such as the wedding venue and the Temple of Poseidon that are reachable by car/taxi. Transportation to and from the venue will be arranged for the guests from us. We suggest using Citymapper if you are going to use public transportation and Uber for taxis.

Airbnb & Hotels are all around the city. Here you can find some of our recommendations. Please note that due to high season the demand in the city will be high, so we recommend booking them as early as possible.

City essentials
For visiting the Acropolis we recommend wearing trainers as the marbles can be quite slippery. Make sure you have with you bottles of water as the temperatures can be very hot on the top.
Hats, water, sunscreen and light clothing are recommended when traveling around the city. There are several kiosks around the town that sell all the essentials from snacks to mini fans.
Cards are accepted in 80% of the businesses but for more traditional tavernas, some kiosks or tourist shops it's always handy to have some cash.

It's party time !
Our wedding through your eyes
For our wedding day we chose a unique way to capture these special moments. We are going to be using the POV app. It is an app that allows the guests through the special invitation link that you'll find on your seat to capture their best 25 pictures from our night and upload them later on an album in the app. We would love to see our wedding through your eyes.

Transportation to & from the venue
As soon as you book your accommodation please let us know so we can arrange the coaches for the wedding day. We are currently working on the logistics with the venue but a rough timeline will be from 18:30 - 04:00
